Summary

Civilization is destroyed in the 20th century, and for 300 years the people have suffered under the oppression of a country ruled by despots. The army of the ruler of Byakko Village, the Red King, attacks and the village chief's son Tatara is killed. His twin sister Sarasa decides at that time to take his appearance to fight.

However, Sarasa and the Red King meet at a hot spring, falling in love without knowing the other's identity.

Gaining an ally in Hayato of the Suzaku Family, Sarasa aims for the land of her grandfather's dying wish, Sakura Island in Kyushu, but the place where Sakura Island should be sank into the sea and was destroyed.

Fights in the place of her bother Tatara who was killed. In truth, she is the "Child of Destiny".

Last son of the Emperor. He is charged with Chugoku Shikoku and Kyushu provinces. His name is Shuri.
