The Legend of Basara manga has twenty-seven volumes. The first twenty-five contain the main story and the next two contain several side-stories. It first ran as a monthly installment on Betsucomi from September of 1990 to June of 1996. Subsequent tankubans were compiled as 27 volumes and published from April of 1991 to March of 2000 by Flower Comics.
There is currently a translation project in progress by members of the Basara mailing list. This page is designed to be a resource for members involved in the translation project, as well as a location to house the translations themselves. If you have copies of the manga and are interested in helping translate e-mail DrMM or join the Basara mailing list and let us know. Even a few chapters would be helpful . . I'm terribly happy, because someone finally translated the all-important Volume15. ^_^
