There are 13 episodes in the anime series and was produced by KSS. It ran from April 2 to June 28 of 1998 on Sun TV. It covers the first five volumes of the manga and thus has an annoyingly ambiguous ending (it really doesn't end). Fansubs of the series are available in the U.S. from Odyssey Anime.
